Therapy & Testing – Payment

Payment for all therapy, parent training, and testing services is due at the time of service and can be made via credit, debit, or HSA card in person or through your client portal. Checks made out to Briana Hoffman, PsyD, LLC are also accepted.

I am in-network with TRICARE and Blue Cross Blue Shield but I am not contracted with any other insurance companies. However, you can obtain a Superbill through your client portal. This will allow you to attempt reimbursement for therapy and testing services through your insurance company. It is strongly advised that you contact your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network benefits prior to beginning treatment. Additionally, please note, not all services I provide will be eligible for reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy: The card on file will be charged the full price of the scheduled session for missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice. If you are unable to attend your in-person or video session, you may choose to use email, text, or phone communication during your scheduled appointment time. Full price will still be charged.

No Surprises Act: You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any nonemergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
• Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
• Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 757-514-4700.
